Sunny but very windy
When walking with Boogie (my doggie) this morning,
I thought I was going to fly away!! LOL
Today I have updated some of my pages;
this has taken me a good part of the day.
I received an adorable adoption from Kellie

It has been a long time again since I last posted.
Christmas and January have been very busy and I hardly
had time to update my pages. i found today some free time
and thought it was a good moment to refresh my blog.
Already February!
In France we celebrate "La Chandeleur"
And of course we make Crêpes, a sort of very thin pancake
They are delicious!

Only 15 days for christmas!
I can't believe time as passed so quickly!
So much time I do not write! I have been so very busy.
I love Christmas.
But this year I feel sad because my son Max will not be with us.
He must stay to work in France.
It is the first time he is not home for Christmas,
and it will not be the same without him.
We are lucky to have our daughter Carole coming on the 20th.
I am so glad she will be home!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and very Happy Holidays
and may the New Year bring blessins to all.

First I want to thank all of you for the nice notes about my new site.
Thank you also for all the gifts.
I am still working on my wabsite, hoping I can finish it soon.
But today I take a break to post a really good apple tart recipe.
It is a french recipe, called "Tarte Tatin"
Try it, I am sure you will enjoy it

I hope you understand this recipe! It has taken me ages for the translation
Please if you do not understand something, let me know!
Tarte Tatin
You will need a round tin of about 11 inches diameter and 2½ inches high
(27 cm/6cm)

Ingredients for the pastry

1 egg
125 grs sugar
125 grs butter
250 grs flour
a pinch of salt
1 spoonful of warm water		 Ingredients for the filling:

500 grs apples
20 grs sugar
20 grs butter
Caramel made with 75 grs of sugar
Directions:
Prepare the pastry:
Put the flour in a big bowl , make a well in the center of the flour with fingertips and put the butter cut into small pieces, the pinch of salt,
egg yolk, sugar and add 1 spoonful of warm water to mix to a firm dough .
cover with a cloth and allow it to stand for 20 minutes.

Prepare the filling:
Peel , quarter and core the apples and cut in thin slices to put on top of the tart,
the rest a little more thicker.
Prepare the Caramel: put in a casserole the 75 grs of sugar ,put on a low heat and let it golden, then pour it in the tin .Cover all the bottom of tin with the caramel.
Let it cool for a minute.
Put the thin slices of apple on the caramel,
place them nicely as for an apple tart covering the bottom of the tin.
Then fill the mould with the rest of the apples, (no need to place them.)
Spread the 20 grs of sugar and over the apple slices,
then add the 20 grs of butter in small pieces all over them.
Roll out the pastry , it has to be about 4 milimeters thick.
Cut out the pastry into a round a little bigger than the tin.
Cover the apples with this pastry and insert it to the bottom of the tin .
Bake in a hot oven for 1/2 an hour.
The pastry must be golden brown.
When it is ready, take out of the oven, then place a plate over the tart
and turn it upside down on the plate.
*you must make this as soon as you take the tart out of the oven ,
before the caramel which is on the bottom gets cold and sticks to the tin.
If this happens, do not worry, just warm it on a slow fire and the caramel will melt then you can turn over the tart.

This tarte Tatin is really delicious.You can eat it warm (not hot) or cold.

Another month without writing! I really could not find the time.
I have my new domain now ! This means a lot of work moving all
my files to my new site, and it is not finished!I still have a lot of work to do.
Besides, I am doing a custom work for a cattery which is taking me time too.
I am so happy to have my own domain though I did not think about all the work
this was going to be!I lose many hours during the days because the internet
connection is very bad. Sometimes I spend more than an hour to upload one file!
Can you imagine this? It is terrible!!
Well, I better stop annoying you with my little problems.

I have been very busy these last 2 weeks , not even time to write some lines.
First the visit of my daughter, we had a great time.
I have also been drawing very much.Made a mother's day set, more blog adoptions
and also flower bears to adopt. I decided to make some blog templates.
I am always short of time , though I prepare everyhting at home in the evening,
when I go to the cyber café I have no time for making all that I want to.
Well lately the connection has been awful, 1/4 of an hour to open an e-mail,
that gives an idea of how long things can be.
Wish they had ADSL , they told me it will begin in Morocco
in a month or two, but will be expensive at the beginning, so at the cyber café
they will wait till next year to install it.
I am also waiting for the scanner, to add some photos to this blog.
I have a few I did 2 years ago and kept in disquette
I am adding some of them for you to see lovely Morocco

Aahhh!!! what a beautiful morning!!
The sun shines, the birds are singing, and it is hot!!
I love this weather!
In a while I bring my mother to hospital where the doctor must see her.
That is why i am up so early !! it is 7.30 am and I was up at 6.30, this is like a record for me!! LOL
Here comes Boogie, (our doggie) looking for some breakfast! He looks surprised ,
probably thinking "how is it that she is already awake?"
And there comes Conan (our other doggie) , jumping to have some cuddles!
I better continue later because he won't let me write.

Friday ~ April 25 ~ 2003 (part2)
Back from hospital. the doctor found my mother was much better so I am very happy!!
I have prepared a "ragout" for lunch (pronounciation ragoo) .It is a french stew, very good
with meat, onions, carrots, potatoes, the secret for a good taste is to leave it simmer
during 2 hours . If someone is interested in the recipe, e-mail me and i will be glad to
send it to you. It is very easy and you can also prepare it the night before,
In a few minutes i will go out with Boogie for his (and mine) daily walk.
After lunch I will go to the cyber café and i hope it is working ok.
Yesterday I had problems with the key board.
Each day I find something not working. Sometimes they have viruses also
so i have to check things before doing anything and I lose much time there.
I have been working on blog adoptables and i hope I can put them on line this afternoon.
I have made tiny bears for summertime.I am quite happy with them .
And now, time to get Boogie out!

Nearly 2 months that I have not write!
With my mum's surgery, I have been out of the internet !
Things are just beginning to be back to normal.
The weather has been just awful the last couple of weeks.
Normaly we have hot weather since end of March here, and in April we go the beach
but this year it hasn't stop raining.Day and night, it just pours .
It is also cold, very strange for this time of the year,
I hope good weather will be here soon, and that we recover "Sunny Morocco:"
Yesterday I finished a bear collection , I am quite happy with it.
Before leaving, I would like to thank everyone for al the mails and kind thoughts that I
have received during my mother's illness

It is 4.am and i have just finished drawing my blinkies and my blog squares.
As you can see, I stay late at night, everybody tells me I am a night owl !!
I wanted to make as much work as possible because my daughter is coming this week
and i know I will not have much time to go to the cyber café, I want to stay with her
as much as ossible.I am so excited!! I hope she can stay more than last time.

I finally decided to create my blog
I hope i will have enough time to write on it every day.
As I do not have internet at home, I have a limited time on the net.
When I go to the cyber café, I must answer to all the mails, upload all
the pages I have prepared to update my site,so all this leaves me little time
to surf and visit other websites.On top of all my english is not that good, so
I want to apologize for the mistakes.
